The Brewers and their loyal fans aren't the only ones getting ready for the upcoming season. This afternoon, TGI Fridays announced they are prepping a new contemporary design upgrade for their Miller Park location this month.
The redesign includes interior modifications and upgrades, new brick wall surfaces, updated finishes, lighting improvements and decor. A revamped bar, featuring new granite surfaces with stainless steel rails, LED accent lighting, custom wood paneling for the back bar, subway tile-wrapped columns and new seating, will serve as the restaurant's new focal point.
The new design is a part of a larger re-imaging campaign that the TGI Fridays brand plans to roll out over the next three years.
TGI Fridays will close Sunday night at 10 p.m. to begin the construction process. The restaurant will then reopen for business and show off the new changes the afternoon of Saturday, March 15.
These renovations to TGI Fridays are a part of a greater Miller Park improvement project for the 2014 season that includes a redeveloped Toyota Territory, a new AJ Bombers location, an expanded Brewers team store, a new Authentics kiosk, a Bob Uecker statue in his famous "Last Row," added flat-panel televisions on the concourses and a refurbishment of the East Lot's tailgating pavilions.
