Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson and 9th District Ald. Larresa Taylor will take part in a Town Hall and Q&A discussion on the future of the old Northridge Mall site on Monday, Aug. 5, at 5:30 p.m.
The public meeting will be held in the auditorium at Vincent High School, 7501 N. Granville Rd., and will also include representatives from the Department of City Development, Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee Fire Department, Department of Neighborhood Services and demolition contractor Veit & Co.
The goal of the Town Hall is to share updates about the status of the former mall – which closed in 2003 – the upcoming planning process and a timeline for the demolition of the remaining portions of the mall.
Community members will be able to share their input on future plans at the event. You can also share you ideas at any time on the Engage Milwaukee website.
