Kudos to Huffington Post for the list/link bait quality of today's story titled "This Is The ONE Thing You Must Do In Each U.S. State."

In it, editors asked "this question to (them)selves, to (their) trusted friends, and to a whole bunch of HuffPost editors."  They call the story the "ultimate American travel guide."

Of course, it's a tall task to pick just one thing to do in each state, and not too much different than trying to pick your favorite child. Nonetheless, HuffPost did it and the answers vary from parks to places and foods to festivals. For our wonderful state, the editors selected Madison for their choice. Specifically, the Dane County Farmer's Market

Here's what they had to say:

"Everyone in Madison – from hippies to soccer moms – shops the Saturday smorgasbord that sets up around the Capitol building (they're open almost all year round!). Be sure to pick up some classic Wisconsin cheese curds.
Recommended by Paul Brandeis Raushenbush, executive editor of Huffington Post Religion."

I love farmers markets, and the farmers market in Madison is wonderful. But, if I could do only one thing in Wisconsin, I'm pretty sure it's not in my top five.

What's your ONE thing people should do in Wisconsin? Chime in and represent.
