The weekend weather is looking quite fetching and because bars and restaurants beyond Milwaukee proper can now legally open, some folks are ready to toast a less-challenging new season.

Of course, the pandemic is still out there, so picking a patio versus sitting inside a bar or restaurant might be less of a health risk. Thus, there are many spots with outdoor drinking and eating areas that are ready to finally put the "social" in social distancing.

We are all feeling we deserve some fresh air, literally and figuratively, but let's be smart, careful and kind as we navigate back into this new wacky world.

Here are 13 spots with patios that are practicing health and safety reopening guidelines as recommended by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. Some have limited hours and / or limited patio hours.
