Season's eatings! The weather may be getting colder, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee is just cooking up, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Dining Month is brought to you by Fein Brothers, your premier food service equipment and supply dealer in Wisconsin since 1929. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted! See all the winners for the month so far here.

Looking for a new spot to wind down your day on Monday evening? Look no further than Plum Lounge’s new Monday night happy hour.

This snazzy Downtown spot, located at 780 N. Jefferson St., will offer $1 oysters on Mondays from 4 to 7 p.m., along with a menu of craft cocktails to wash them down.

Choose from myriad options including a blackberry bourbon mule, Royal Blood margarita and "Uuuhhhh," a purple hued drink made with 44 North Huckleberry vodka and lemonade.

Not so sure about oysters? Neither was Matt Mueller, until he tackled them in episode 3 of our new podcast, FoodCrush: Aw shucks! Learning to love oysters. Give it a listen and see if he changed his mind.

Want to nosh on more than oysters? Get there early and order up some tacos from Taco Bar, located right next door

When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or recording the FoodCrush podcast, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
