{image1}Willy Porter kicks off his fall East Coast tour Nov. 8 at Joe's Pub in New York. David Adler will join him on keyboards and vocals. Adler, a full-time member of the Willy Porter Band, will record their "Willy & Dave Show" every night and produce it for sale on site.

"These shows promise to be very musical, amusing and different every night," said Porter in an e-mail to fans.

Porter returns to Milwaukee for a show at the Miramar Theatre on Nov. 25 to benefit LifeWays, a Waldorf-based child care center and early education school in Riverwest. The next day, he heads to the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago for his annual two-show gig there.

In December, Porter travels as a cast member on the Canadian Pacific Railways' Holiday Train Dec. 9-12. This tour makes four stops a day, opening up a stage car for a free open-air concert.

Joining Porter on this tour will be The Ennis Sisters and Tracey Brown. The entire event is an effort by Canadian Pacific Railway to give back to the communities it serves throughout the year by supporting a local food pantry at each stop.

Porter closes out the year with a series of dates in the Midwest with singer/songwriter; Mark Cohn. He's booked for New Year's Eve to bring in 2006 at Shank Hall.

After a holiday break, Porter heads back into his studio, The Engine Room, to record a new studio album with the band. The album will be released in the spring, and will dovetail into the summer '06 touring plans.

Also on tap for the spring is a series of dates with Porter's longtime friend Glen Phillips (ex of Toad the Wet Sprocket). Porter also will participate in The 60th Anniversary of Fender Musical Instruments in March and April next year.

Finally, Six Degrees Records recently released the album, "Willy Porter," as a Super Audio CD. This new version features three programs: A SA-CD 5.1 surround version, a SA-CD stereo version and a version that is playable in any standard CD player or computer. All the tracks have been remixed in high resolution.
