In celebration of Portillo’s 54th anniversary, the restaurant is offering guests a very special treat.

All day long on Thursday, April 6, customers can purchase a slice of Portillo’s famous chocolate cake for just $0.54 (regularly $3.09).

The chain might be best known for its Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches, but the cake is not something to be overlooked. Baked fresh daily, it’s moist and chocolatey and filled with decadent chocolate frosting. It’s also the same cake used in the chain’s popular cake shakes.

So, mark your calendars and set your alarms.

The offer is good at all restaurant locations, while supplies last, with a limit of one slice of cake per customer.

Can’t make the birthday celebration? Celebrate yours. Just visit portillos.com/freecake to receive a complimentary slice of the Famous Chocolate Cake on their birthday.
