Chief Flynn's "4 Ways Not to Get Shot in Milwaukee" and other Strategies to Reduce Gun Violence to be Discussed at Public Safety Committee on Monday:
Police Chief Edward Flynn will appear during a special meeting of the Public Safety Committee Monday, June 6, to discuss strategies to reduce gun violence in Milwaukee, as well as other crime related issues.
The request for Chief Flynn to appear to discuss strategies to reduce gun violence is sponsored by Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs and Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II, and co-sponsored by Alderman Ashanti Hamilton, Alderman Khalif J. Rainey, Alderwoman Chantia Lewis, Alderman Cavalier Johnson, Alderman Bob Donovan, Alderman Jim Bohl, Alderman Nik Kovac, Alderman Mark A. Borkowski and Alderman José G. Pérez.
Monday’s special Public Safety Committee meeting will be televised live on the City Channel (Channel 25 on Time Warner Cable and on AT&T U-Verse Channel 99) in the City of Milwaukee. It can also be viewed via streaming video on the city website at city.milwaukee.gov/Channel25.
