The Westown Association announced the line-up for this summer's River Rhythms. As always, the concert series takes place Wednesdays from 5:30 to 9 p.m. There is no performance on July 4.

Here's the schedule:

June 6 -- DE LA BUENA: De La Buena's young talents bring spirit and energy to Latin American big band standards and originals.

June 13 -- GREG KOCH: Koch brings together a group of renowned musicians for a night of blues, jazz, rock, and funk, delivered with taste and humor.

June 20 - PIKE CREEK BLUEGRASS BAND: Featuring the spirited fiddling of Frogwater alumnus Susan Jeske-Dermody, Pike Creek presents a variety of traditional bluegrass.

June 27 -- THE RHYTHM CLUB: Eclectic song selections, from Patsy Cline to the Pointer Sisters, make this group of Mrs. Fun, Robin Pluer, and Julie Wood, a quirky good time.

July 11 -- SOUTHBOUND: Rock out with this popular Allman Brothers cover band. Their solid arrangments and strong musicianship have earned them a following throughout the state.

July 18 -- SAM LLANAS: Sam Llanas, co-frontman of the BoDeans, comes back to River Rhythms for a July 18th solo gig.  

July 25 -- THE ALL-STAR SUPERBAND: Many of Milwaukee's top jazz players converge to perform hip and exciting big band arrangements of jazz standards in many styles.

Aug. 1 -- CHASIN MASON: Kickin' modern country band with well-crafted originals, strong vocals, and skilled musicianship.

Aug. 8 -- UNITY: Based in Appleton, this 8-piece Reggae band mixes traditional reggae with spirited originals, performed with verve and a strong groove.

Aug. 15 -- SEANCHAI & THE UNITY SQUAD: Strong Irish rock from this New York-based quartet. In your face lyrics and edgy guitars with traditional sounds gives Seanchai a unique energy.

Aug. 22 -- DARYL STUERMER: Milwaukee-based fusion guitarist is known for his work with Genesis and Phil Collins. Performing with his band.

Aug. 29 - WADE FERNANDEZ: Native American music with one foot in the blues and one in modern rock, Wade maintains a well-crafted balance of traditional Native American musical and lyrical themes.

Sept. 5 -- PAUL CEBAR: A Milwaukee favorite, Cebar and his band create original music that encompassees the best of R& B and world music flavors, heavy on percussion and dance grooves.
