Didn't get ice skating this season?  Well, you'll have to wait until next year, if you wanted to skate at Red Arrow, at least.

With spring on its way and warmer weather here (for the next fews days, at least), Red Arrow Park's Slice of Ice rink, 920 N. Water St., closed for the season on Sunday, March 11.

Let's hope the county can use the off season to install better cooling systems so the ice skating season can open earlier next winter.  Wouldn't it be nice to skate in October?  Better yet, why not freeze it all year and let us skate in the summer!?

For information about Milwaukee County Park System go to countyparks.com or call (414) 257-PARK (7275).

You can still skate at the Wilson Park Ice Center, Pettit Ice Center and at MSOE's Kern Center during open skate, if you're a member.
