Spring is finally here, and summer is just around the corner. We had the 60s last week, 70s this week and we’ve even been flirting with 80 in some parts of the area! Before you know it, patio season will be in full swing.

Steinhafels has many new patio items on display, as well as many of your old favorites. Some of the new items will even help make your patio more comfortable and high tech!

OnMilwaukee’s Carolynn Buser checked out the patio selection at our new Greenfield Store in the 84 South Shopping Complex and interviewed Decorating Solutions Interior Designer Colleen Rome on Facebook Live:

In the video, the ladies show us a wide variety of patio options, from sprawling outdoor sectionals; to smaller, more intimate seating options and fire tables.

One of the coolest things about the patio options at Steinhafels is that most are available through Special Order as well, so you can make them your own.

Like everything, patios are getting more and more tech savvy. We have automatic ice chests that can stay cold for days. Or turn up the heat with a gas fire pit – a cleaner look and less hassle than classic wood fire pits.

We’re always talking trends. A big trend this season is turning your outdoor space into an entertainment area or an extension of your living room. Patio furniture is more durable and comfortable than ever!

Take bench seating for example. People love the style and versatility of the classic bench, with a modern twist. Rome explains, "People really love them, kids love them. They are easy to get in and out of, if you’re in your swimsuit or something like that."

Another highlight on the Facebook Live video is our new line of patio power recliners. That’s right: Power recliners aren’t just for the indoors anymore! These recliners help bring style, comfort and function to your outdoor space. Waterproof casings and connections mean they can withstand wind and rain, so you don’t have to drag them inside and outside all the time.

So go ahead, let your mind wander to those lazy summer days of sitting out back on the patio or lounging by the pool with a cocktail. They will be here (and gone) before we know it!

But don’t delay, especially if you plan on special ordering. Some of those orders can take up to 8-10 weeks. However, you can find versions of most items in stock right in our stores – while supplies last. "Now is the time to come in definitely if you want to use it this summer," Rome urges.
