In case 2016 wasn't exciting enough for Trekkies – what with the franchise's 50th anniversary, a new movie and the impending arrival of a new TV show – here's something else to set fans' phasers to stun: The Riverside Theater will play host to "Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage."
The touring concert event will feature a live symphony orchestra performing much of the original music written and composed for the franchise, from the original series to "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" to "Wrath of Khan" through "The Next Generation" and beyond. Accompanying the live performance will be footage from the television shows and movies, projected onto a 40 ft. screen.
The show is set for 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, with tickets going on sale beginning Friday, Nov. 13 at noon. Reserved seating costs either $39.59, $49.50 or $75.
