The Summer Marketplace, hosted by MKE Black, is back! The series of events feature food trucks, art & crafts, fashion and more.

The Marketplace is set for Sunday, July 17, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It will take place at Deer District's The Beer Garden, 1133 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Vendors are still welcome to apply.

MKE Black is a 100 percent volunteer-run nonprofit whose mission is to celebrate, promote, empower, and advance Black businesses, events, and culture in the greater Milwaukee area by providing resources, connections, and awareness in everyday life.


Molly Snyder started writing and publishing her work at the age 10, when her community newspaper printed her poem, "The Unicorn.” Since then, she's expanded beyond the subject of mythical creatures and written in many different mediums but, nearest and dearest to her heart, thousands of articles for OnMilwaukee.

Molly is a regular contributor to FOX6 News and numerous radio stations as well as the co-host of "Dandelions: A Podcast For Women.” She's received five Milwaukee Press Club Awards, served as the Pfister Narrator and is the Wisconsin State Fair’s Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Champion of 2019.
