There are way more than "100 Things to do at Summerfest," but this year, concert-goers at the BMO Harris Pavilion with Miller Lite will be treated to a fun and creative list of the hundred compiled by OnMilwaukee, a digital media company and online magazine based in Summerfest’s hometown of Milwaukee.
As fans wait for headliners like The Fray, Cheap Trick, Andra Day, Hollywood Vampires, the Indigo Girls and others, the huge screen at the BMO Harris Pavilion will project different, unique takes on things to do at Summerfest. The ideas, curated and compiled by OnMilwaukee staff, will also highlight and encourage fans to download and use a new, custom set of Summerfest emojis.
The images, part of OnMilwaukee’s Locamoji app, will include the iconic Summerfest smile logo and many other Summerfest-centric images that fans will love using and sharing with friends.
"Summerfest is Milwaukee, and summer is our city’s time to shine. We’re excited to present our creative, fun-filled content in a way to truly connect with people and that hits people where they play," said OnMilwaukee co-founder and president Jeff Sherman. "It’s an honor to partner with Summerfest and BMO Harris Bank on this creative marketing partnership."
Summerfest, BMO Harris Bank and OnMilwaukee partnered on this opportunity and designed a unique fan experience that not only helps the community get to know Henry Maier Park and Summerfest better, but also helps fans become ambassadors for Milwaukee and Summerfest.
"We are excited, along with our partners, to bring some new exciting additions to festival-goers that will enable them to become Summerfest brand stewards and navigate through this year’s festival with confidence," said Jud Snyder, President, BMO Harris Equipment Finance Company.
"We are thrilled to partner with OnMilwaukee to provide our patrons with a fun new way to communicate with each other and offer advice to enhance their Summerfest experience all 11 days of the festival," said Sarah Smith Pancheri, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Summerfest.
