The folks at ESPN might think Milwaukee's a "terrible city"; but behind the scenes, all that public vitriol has only fueled more deliciousness in the city of beer, cheese and bratwurst.

In fact, it has inspired at least one Bay View venue to whip out its wiener in protest. Appropriately, it’s The Vanguard, 2659 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., well known as one of the city’s wurst restaurants.

The “Terrible City” style hot dog (formerly known as the “Milwaukee”) features an all-beef hot dog topped with fried cheese curds, cheddar cheese and Cheez Wiz – because there’s nothing more "terrible" than a "terrible" hot dog covered in three even more "terrible" cheeses.

As one individual replied on social media: “Milwaukee is DA WURST!!!!”

Grab up one of these soon-to-be Terrible City classics while you can, and be sure to wash it down with one of the city's many "terrible" beers.

Even better, take your first bite while emphatically signing the petition to keep the MKE haters where they belong: anywhere but the Cream City.
