Milwaukee is all a-buzz with new shopping options. Both Whole Foods and Trader Joe's came to town recently, and have been more or less packed with shoppers ever since. But can you do all of your weekly or monthly shopping at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, or are these places to stop for treats and specialty items?
E-mail us at soundoff@staff.onmilwaukee.com and if picked, we'll post your response next Sunday. Only submissions that include your full name and where you live will be considered.

Last week's question: What is Milwaukee's biggest party block?

There hasn't been a decent party block in this town since Downer Avenue in the '80s. Henri's, Coffee Trader and Brewster's were the best. It wasn't even as much about alcohol as it was about hanging out, talking and maybe getting high in someone's car. Those were the good old days.

My first choice would be Brady Street. I love the Nomad, Hi Hat and Hi Hat Garage. My second choice would be Milwaukee Street. My third choice would be the Third Ward bars like Ale House and Wicked Hop.

Water Street is the bomb. I love going down there with my friends to party. We always end up doing something wild.

With out-of-town guests coming to Milwaukee every weekend, I would want to impress them with an upscale, trendy area. With a line up of Tangerine, Carnevor, Eve, Cubanitas, Hotel Metro and Kennadee's, Milwaukee Street is a must hit when coming to the Brew City.
