As I tell people daily, the Downtown Milwaukee Master Plan that was put into place in 1999 and updated in 2010 has come together very, very nicely.

Need more proof? Check out this story from Travel Pulse by Michael Schottey, the Director of Digital Content for the company.

Titled "10 Midwest Cities Worth Exploring," the story says this about Milwaukee:

"What Milwaukee's Downtown has accomplished over the past decade is staggering. Whether it's that the unintentional irony of the city's culture has just suddenly become in vogue or just more people are figuring out the delight of things like fried cheese curds, sausage plates and insane Bloody Mary's, Milwaukee is genuinely one of the coolest cities in the country and people are finally getting it."

Indeed, people are finally getting it. Let's all continue to spread the word. Onward and OnMilwaukee.
