A producer from the Travel Channel called recently to pick my brain about "off the map" attractions in Wisconsin. "Off the Map" is the working title for a new show on the network that would "take the viewers to the great restaurants, shops and events that most people have never heard of, that are more or less ‘Off The Map.'"
I came up with several, but being the kind-hearted soul that I am, I told him that we'd open up the conversation to OnMilwaukee.com readers like you.
So, that is exactly what I'm doing.
Where are your favorite "off the map" Wisconsin destinations? Those places with character and personality that are not going to make a travel guide but someone like the Travel Channel would love to feature.
Use the Talkback feature to and I'll pass the ideas along and/or we'll use them for the OnMilwaukee.com Travel and Visitors section. Thanks!
