Sure, avocados have long been revered for their ability to bring a glow to tired, dehydrated skin. But the superfood is taking on an entirely new meaning as e.l.f. Cosmetics prepares to launch their second cosmetics collab with the national guacamole-slinging burrito chain, Chipotle.

But that’s not all.

To celebrate the launch, both e.l.f and Chipotle have teamed up with the multi-faceted Trixie Mattel, a Milwaukee native who has built her brand as a drag superstar, singer-songwriter, comedian, best-selling author, Instagram influencer and YouTube personality. Mattel is also co-owner of This is It!, Milwaukee’s iconic LGBTQ bar.

First, the burrito

The cosmetics launch will kick off on March 10, with the release of a brand new beauty-inspired plant-based entrée at Chipotle. The new  burrito bowl, which debuts March 10, was curated by Mattel alongside fellow “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Kim Chi.

The bowl  – named “Eyes. Chips. Face. Bowl.” – will feature white rice, pinto beans, roasted chil-corn salsa, tomatillo-red salsa and guacamole and a side of tortilla chips. It will be available to order March 10-17 on the Chipotle app and at Chipotle.com.

Then, a make-up mukbang

The (dare we say delicious?) limited edition Chipotle-themed make-up line will also debut on March 10.  It will kick off with a (very meta) “Makeup Mukbang” on Mattel’s legendary YouTube channel, where she and Kim Chi will give one another makeovers with the e.l.f. Chipotle Collection while indulging in their signature burrito bowl.

Oh,  yeah: about that make-up

The new Chipotle-inspired e.l.f. Cosmetics line includes:

  • A Chipotle 12-piece eyeshadow palette: features a fresh spread of matte, shimmer, and metallic shades inspired by Chipotle ingredients like lettuce, beans and guacamole. It even comes complete with a coupon for free chips and guac from Chipotle (while supplies last).
  • Make It Hot Lip Gloss:  a lip-plumping gloss with a tint of red-hot salsa color, but none of the burn.
  • The Extra Guac Face Sponge Set:  because we all need avocado-shaped makeup sponges in our lives.

And, because nothing is more delicious with guacamole than tortilla chips...

  • The Eyes Chips Face Makeup Bag, which was designed (surprise!) to look just like Chipotle’s tortilla chip bag

The new collection will be available exclusively on elfcosmetics.com, chipotlegoods.com and on the mobile-first virtual shopping platform NTWRK.
