Urban Outfitters, Inc., as OnMilwaukee.com has reported, is opening two of its concepts, Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie, in Milwaukee.

According to Jocelyn McAvoy, senior manager of training and communication, Urban Outfitters will open at the Kenilworth Building, 1937 E. Kenilworth Pl., on the East Side on Dec. 14.

With entrances on North Prospect Avenue, it's steps away from Alterra Coffee, around the block from Ess Elle, a women's clothier, and one-and-a-half blocks south of the Whole Foods Market on East North Avenue.

Anthropologie will open after the holidays on Jan. 18, 2008 in Milwaukee's "fashion district," otherwise known as the Third Ward.

The store will be in the 36,000-sq. ft. 301 N. Broadway building, formerly A. Gagliano & Company. The women's retailer held open interview sessions on Thursday, Nov. 15 at The Intercontinental Hotel.
