The Third Annual Yum Yum Fest is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 21 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Central Park, 202 S. Ingersoll St., in Madison. And this year, participants will have the opportunity to taste food from three of Milwaukee's best restaurants.

Three Milwaukee restaurants – including dandan, Sanford and The Vanguard – will be serving dishes including beef salad atop an heirloom tomato (The Vanguard), roasted lamb belly with hop leaf tabbouleh and apricot yogurt (Sanford) and a ham crepe with scallion and egg (dandan).

Yum Yum Fest is a charitable endeavor planned by the Madison Area Chefs Network (MACN) that has quickly become Madison’s premier end-of-summer food festival.

Admission is just $10 and entitles ticket-holders to enjoy food from nearly 30 venues for $5 per plate (cash only) along with live music from roving artists, including Black Star Drum line and a mariachi band, and art installations from Kristof Wickman & Evan Gruzis. The festival has raised more than $15,000 for local charities since its inception in 2014.
