Milwaukeeans take parking seriously. We want it cheap and plentiful. But what about when going to bars? Are parking lots at bars a good idea or a recipe for disaster?

If a group or couple appoints a responsible designated driver at the beginning of the evening, or the driver has one drink, then parking lots are definitely appreciated – especially, perhaps, by those in their 30s, 40s and 50s.

But sometimes people don't have a designated driver, and if they don't, do parking lots make it easier to drive after over-consuming?

Do you ever choose a bar based on the accessibility of parking? Or shouldn't that even be taken into consideration?
