Sobelman's

Milwaukeeans love a good, hearty bloody mary, and there are plenty of delicious choices nominated for the title of Milwaukee's best bloody. Which one took top prize?

For the fifth straight year, you, OnMilwaukee readers, have decided that Sobelman's Pub & Grill concocts the city's best bloody mary. Maybe that's because it serves plenty of garnishes, like entire fried chickens and bacon cheeseburger sliders, leaving little to no room for a beer chaser.

Once again, Sobelman's, 1900 W. Saint Paul Ave., in the Menomonee Valley – and with locations on Marquette's campus and in Mequon, edged out The Wicked Hop by only a handful of votes.

OnMilwaukee editors' pick: Steny's

Runners up:
2. The Wicked Hop
3. Steny's
4. Blue's Egg
5. Comet

This year we also asked a variety of prominent Milwaukeeans to weigh in on their pick for specific categories. For this category, we consulted Jessica Tighe, of CBS-58 News.

Tighe's pick: The Wicked Hop
This is such a tough decision, I need to walk down the street and order a bloody to mull it over.

Milwaukee dominates the Bloody Mary scene, but Wicked Hop is my top choice overall. I always order mine spicy-- no matter where I go.

Wicked Hop comes out on top for the garnishes. You have to have a little cheese and the mozza whips rock! Sausage, shrimp, the shroom. Pickle and a beef stick too? Boom! (I never give away my pickle.) Soooo much goodness!
