"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee is brought to you by Miller Brewing Company, calling Milwaukee home since 1855. For the entire month of March, we're serving up fun articles on bars, clubs and beverages – including guides, the latest trends, bar reviews, the results of our Best of Bars poll and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

Bryant's Cocktail Lounge

For the fifth year running, OnMilwaukee readers voted Bryant's Cocktail Lounge as the best of the best when it comes to whipping up the city's finest craft cocktails.

And it's no wonder. In addition to its classic old school lounge feel, Bryant's offers up an ever-evolving selection of carefully crafted drinks – including classic and new school offerings – many of which are derived from a collection of nearly 500 house recipes.

Among the classics for which it's become known are the Rat Pack, the rum-based Brain Buster and the ever-popular house original: the Kismet, which dates back at least 70 years.

OnMilwaukee editors' pick: Dock18 Cocktail Lab (inside Twisted Path Distillery)

Runners up:
2. Boone & Crockett
3. Camp Bar
4. Great Lakes Distillery
5. TIE: Goodkind and Rumpus Room

This year we also asked a variety of prominent Milwaukeeans to weigh in on their pick for specific categories. For this category, we consulted Guy Rehorst, owner and founder of Great Lakes Distillery.

Rehorst's pick: Bryant's Cocktail Lounge

"The place has a great vibe, it's nostalgic for me. It reminds me of my dad's bar when I was growing up in the '80s, except with better cocktails!"
