County Clare

Looking for a certifiably Irish place to celebrate that most Irish of holidays, St. Patrick's Day? Once again, according to OnMilwaukee readers, County Clare is the place, storming ahead of the competition for yet another easy win in the best Irish pub category

Considering its authentic menu – featuring the likes of Irish root soup, shepherd's pie, and corned beef and cabbage – and a cozy yet never cramped space, complete with a fireplace perfect for Milwaukee's endless winters, it's clear County Clare's reign at the top of the podium has required no luck of the Irish.

While the top spot is nothing strange, things get much more peculiar as one rolls down the rest of the top five. O'Lydia's scored its second-straight silver medal, while the next three spots on the podium were separated by a total of ... one vote. Indeed, The Harp snagged third place by a single tally over McBob's and Mo's Irish Pub, which tied for the fourth spot.

It's still a tightly contested category – just not at the very top, where County Clare is consistently king.

OnMilwaukee editors' pick: O'Lydia's

Runners-up:
2. O'Lydia's
3. The Harp
4. (tied) McBob's
4. (tied) Mo's Irish Pub
