Bryant's Cocktail Lounge

During "Bar Month" it is easy to become consumed by the selections that highlight beer in Brew City. However, when it comes to drinks, don't be shy! Milwaukee offers an unending list of cocktail establishments to imbibe in, too.

This brings us to Bryant's Cocktail Lounge. For more than 80 years, Bryant's continues to serve up a staggering 450 cocktail choices to the Milwaukee area. To the unfamiliar attendee, this number makes the head spin. But never fear! There are no physical drink menus. Did I lose you? Trust me, this will all make sense. Bryant's takes cocktail-making to a more personal level, as patrons are asked a variety of questions – including style, flavor and color – to pair you with the drink that suits you best!

Given its bartending prowess, it's no coincidence that Bryant's offers us 2019's best martini. This title, like many of the "Bar Month" titles, can be subjective, but that is what Bryant's specializes in. It's not their martini; it's your martini.

The OnMilwaukee staff headed for a lounge with a view, choosing Blu as their editor's pick. There just is something iconic about sipping a martini while you take in the city nightlife.
