"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee is brought to you by Miller Brewing Company, calling Milwaukee home since 1855. For the entire month of March, we're serving up fun articles on bars, clubs and beverages – including guides, the latest trends, bar reviews, the results of our Best of Bars poll and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

Drink Wisconsinbly Pub

This young Walker's Point hot spot also nabbed the title of Milwaukee's best new bar in the first readers' poll reveal at the start of bar month.

Surely, folks love the fact that Drink Wisconsinbly Pub has a classic Milwaukee bar vibe but with a modern, updated style, and that it's located in the heart of one of the hottest neighborhoods in Brew City. That is has a bubbler dispensing Soul Boxer old fashioneds ain't hurting things, either.

OnMilwaukee editors' pick: Three Lions Pub

Runners up:
2. Nomad World Pub
3. Highbury Pub
4. Milwaukee Brat House
5. Three Lions Pub

This year we also asked a variety of prominent Milwaukeeans to weigh in on their pick for specific categories. For this category, we consulted Fox6 Milwaukee anchor Ted Perry.

Perry's pick: Three Lions Pub & The Nomad

I offered to recuse myself from judging this list because candidly, I have not been to most. However, of the one's I've attended, two stick out. The first is Three Lions Pub. My old man always said don't live too far from a pub you can't walk home from. Three Lions is clearly on periphery of my neighborhood, but I don't love it simply for location. It's clearly authentic thanks to the British-born wait and bar staff and reminds me of the time I lived in London during my junior year abroad. Finally, the brunch is the most comforting thing you can find on a cold Saturday morning.

I also have a fondness for The Nomad. I always felt it stressed inclusion in its clientele in a city where inclusion is sometimes lacking. Always a great vibe in there.
