The Love Shack, Milwaukee’s newest riverfront restaurant and bar, opens Saturday, June 24 at 11 a.m. It is located at 106 W. Seeboth St., next to Screaming Tuna.

"I’m really excited to open the doors to The Love Shack," says Wes Shaver, managing partner. "I’ve opened over a dozen new concepts in the last eight years, and I’ve never seen such an organic excitement around a new property."

The Love Shack is a full-service Polynesian restaurant and tiki bar with a second floor space called The Rhum Bar. The tiki cocktail menu features 20 tiki drinks for both individuals and for sharing, made from hand-squeezed fruit juices, small-batch exotic syrups and flavors.

The Love Shack will also offer a 12-item menu directed by Chef Adam Pawlak, who is also the executive chef at Black Sheep. The Love Shack’s menu will include island-inspired items such as scallops and Spam, melon salad, Hawaiian pork meatballs and more.

"The Rhum Bar" will feature a cocktail menu inspired by Vic Bergeron – founder of the world famous Trader Vic’s. Sample flights, single pours or individual samplings will be available.

"People have asked for our patio to be stellar, and we’re confident we delivered just that," says Shaver. "Whether you’re inside or out, you’re accompanied by larger-than-life plants, comfortable seating surfaces and incredible menu options."

The Love Shack will be open seven days a week. Monday-Thursday, from 4 p.m. to midnight; Friday from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
