Take a sip of this story, brought to you by SoulBoxer – quality, ready-to-drink cocktails that promise less time making, more time drinking. Put a little soul in your life, Milwaukee.

Milwaukee was named "America’s Best City To Find Love" for 2017 by The Great Love Debate, a nationally-touring series of live forums that explore love, dating and relationships. Brian Howie hosts a podcast of the same name.

Apparently we ranked first because of our attractive population, vibrant social scene and the confidence within our dating community. Charlotte, North Carolina, came in second.

This was determined via a formula that calculated the opinions and demographic data from over 62,000 singles who attended the tour's live shows in over 80 North American cities as well as the millions who listened to the podcast.

Denver, conversely, was named "America’s Worst City To Find Love"; Dallas has "The Most Dateable Women"; stable Minneapolis is home to "The Most Dateable Men"; and Portland is the "Best City To Get Your Freak On." Go here for the full ranking.

As much as I want to believe Milwaukee is a well-oiled machine of true and powerful love, anecdotally I have heard otherwise. Sure, we all know gaggles of Brew City couples – some happier than others – but we certainly hear a lot of the opposite, too: that Milwaukee, after a certain age, is a difficult place to find Mr. or Mrs. Right.

Am I right?
