Season's eatings! The weather may be getting colder, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee is just cooking up, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Dining Month is brought to you by Fein Brothers, your premier food service equipment and supply dealer in Wisconsin since 1929. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted! See all the winners for the month so far here.

Kopp’s

It’s been a few years since Kopp’s took the top spot for best burgers, but it did this year, beating out last year’s winner, Sobelman’s, by a mere 2 percent.

There are many Milwaukee burgers that are more gourmet and more experimental, but this jumbo classic takes fast food to a new level and packs flavor, freshness and the comfort food factor in between two thin and buttery buns.

Now you’re craving one, aren’t ya?

Runners up:
2. Sobelman’s
3. Oscar’s
4. AJ Bombers
5. Elsa's on the Park

OnMilwaukee editors' pick: Oscar's

Lori Fredrich's pick: Crave Cafe

The Burger Trail has taken me to over 30 spots this year alone. As you can imagine, my opinions about makes a good burger have sharpened along the way. I’ve enjoyed a good many burgers (and there are great ones to be had at numerous spots, including Cafe Soeurette in West Bend, Merriment Social, Oscar’s on Pierce and Stella Van Buren) but the burger that tops the charts (right now) is from Crave Cafe in Shorewood, where there are numerous fantastic tasting burgers, all of which are accompanied by delicious buns, balanced toppings and (bonus) really great fries.
