Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2012. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.

Milwaukee has a variety of great lunch buffets, but once again OnMilwaukee.com readers declared the East Side's Maharaja, recently under new management, to be the very best. It beat out Casablanca by just a few votes.

The daily lunch buffet offers a large selection of Indian soups, vegetarian favorites like palak paneer (spinach cooked with homemade cheese), chicken and beef curries and gulab jamun – those little fried dough balls dipped in sweet syrup.

Plus, the service is good, the atmosphere is lively and nobody walks away hungry. The only problem is working after such a feast might be a challenge.

The editors also chose an Indian buffet, but this time, at Mayura. The restaurant has an fresh, affordable spread of food everyday.
