As Milwaukee gears up for the NBA play-offs, countless restaurants are getting in on the fun. Merriment Social is offering the Greek Freakburger, a customer-created burgers which will face-off in the restaurant's Merriment Madness contest.

And the fever is spreading.

Georgie Porgie’s – the local burger and custard restaurant with locations at 9555 S Howell Ave. in Oak Creek and 5502 Washington Ave. in Mount Pleasant – announced today that it will be rolling out a limited-time burger that includes a nod to star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Gyro Step features a classic Georgie Porgie’s beef patty topped with gyro meat, French fries, homemade tzatziki sauce, onion, tomato and ketchup ($7.99).

"It’s fitting to mention that Georgie Porgie’s is owned by a pair of Greek Freaks themselves, brothers Peter and Lou Liapis," the announcement notes. "The homemade tzatziki sauce is a family recipe that the brothers know Giannis himself would approve of."

The Gyro Step will be available beginning Saturday, April 13 and will be served throughout the playoffs.
