We are halfway through June, and it finally feels like we are getting into our summer groove. Everything is in bloom, the patios and beer gardens are open, and the city is bustling with upcoming festivals and events. For those looking to kick off their weekends with exercise at some of their favorite Milwaukee locations, numerous venues are hosting yoga every week in the summer.

Whether it’s in the beer garden or on the beach, head to a new destination to put a new spin on your yoga routine. Check out the list below of great yoga events going on throughout the city – and keep an eye out for more events that pop up throughout the summer. Here’s to a summer of yoga – namaste!

Bradford Beach

Hosted by Ashlee’s Crazy Yoga, this mixed level class will start your morning right along the shores of Lake Michigan. Held from 8 to 9:15 a.m., there is no admission cost but donations are encouraged.

Cupertino Park

Held every Saturday morning, come down to yoga in the park at Cupertino Park in Bay View! From 8 to 9 a.m. enjoy the beautiful view, fresh air and a great yoga buzz before you hit the farmers market. Hosted by Helium Hot Yoga, you won’t want to miss it.

Estabrook

Every Saturday you can head over to yoga in the beer garden from 10 to 11 a.m. at Estabrook! Tickets are $20, and include a stein of Brauhaus beer after this "no shame" yoga class.

Fiserv Forum
1111 N. Vel R. Phillips Ave.
The Bucks aren't the only ones who can work up a sweat working out at Fiserv Forum. The arena's plaza hosts weekly yoga classes, courtesy of YogaSix, from 7-8 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Great Lakes Distillery

What could be better than yoga, a tour AND a tasting? Not much. Join Great Lakes Distillery for an hour-long all fun yoga class followed by an hour-long Distillery tour and tasting experience! The session will take place June 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Miller Caves

Who says you can only do yoga in the mornings? Friday, June 21 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., join in this unique happy hour for class in the Caves and mingle after in the MillerCoors Stein Hall or out in the beer garden. Each guest will receive four beers – and there is plenty of variety available!

South Shore Terrace

If you can’t get enough of beer garden yoga, you can come down to South Shore Terrace for a hour-long yoga class followed by your choice of beer. Held various Thursdays of the summer; see Facebook event for details.

Sprecher Tap Room

Yoga and a flight of beer? Talk about Sunday Funday! On Sunday, July 28, from 11-2 p.m., enjoy an all fun no shame yoga class followed by a flight of your choice of three beers. No better way to cap off the weekend; tickets are available on Eventbrite.

The Vine Humboldt

"Wine down" with some yoga at Milwaukee’s newest wine garden, The Vine Humboldt. 25 percent of the net proceeds from each event benefit The Park People who maintain and keep the park in tip top shape for us all to enjoy. Spend your nights with The Vine Humboldt, every Wednesday at 6 p.m.!

Villa Terrace

Yoga on the Terrace will take place three times this summer: June 30, July 28 and Aug. 25. All sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. A $10 donation is suggested, with a portion of the proceeds aiding the museum’s community programs. Swing by for a morning of yoga and stunning views of Lake Michigan!
