Pear vodka is like a gift from the liquor gods. A few companies produce it, and Absolut's Pears brand is reasonably priced and extremely fragrant. On its own, pear vodka is basically undrinkable, but when mixed in a cocktail, it's potent, refreshing and deliciously unique.
