The Brewers won Tuesday night's game against the Marlins in Miami, 4-3, but they lost much more as reigning National League MVP Christian Yelich suffered a fractured right knee cap that will bench him for the rest of the season.

The injury occurred in the first inning as Yelich fouled a pitch off his knee during his first at-bat. After trying to walk on the leg for a few moments, Yelich was then removed from the game.

Yelich was in the midst of another MVP-esque season, batting .329 with 44 home runs and 97 RBIs. Without him, the Brewers' task of climbing back into the postseason – currently 5.5 games back of the NL Central and 1.5 back of the Cubs for the final Wild Card spot as of current writing – just got that much more difficult.

F*ck.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
