Always wanted to spend the night inside of Milwaukee’s beloved "Boat House?" Well, now you can because  it is now available for rental via Airbnb.

Steve and Nola Hitchcock Tilton bought the Edmund B. Gustdorf Boathouse, 3138 N. Cambridge Ave., earlier this year and spent the summer remodeling the space. They hired longtime family friend, Veronika Kunath, to mange the Airbnb and to maintain the house.

"The entire Boat House was painted, the floors and ceilings were refinished, but it’s still tastefully nautically themed," says Kunath.

The house is modeled after a 1910 gasoline motor launch and was allegedly built as a boat, but it never sailed. It has two levels, sleeps six and rents for $285 per night.

"We’re really excited to have The Boat House a part of Milwaukee culture again," says Kunath.
