Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. has launched a new limited-edition Explore Wisconsin Explorers Pack that pays tribute to the Badger State while also offering a mix of beers for those who appreciate variety.
The 12-packs include the year-round Fresh Coast juicy pale ale, Chaos Pattern hazy IPA and Rebel Kent amber, plus a rotating “Explore Wisconsin” beer wrapped in label art depicting a Wisconsin site.
The first special brew you’ll find in the packs is the limited edition Banshee Irish Stout – which is dry and earthy – with a label showing Rib Mountain, near Wausau.
“Aside from being a fantastic state to brew beer, Wisconsin has so many great destinations. This series celebrates some of our state’s greatest while encouraging folks to support our local economy, which has always been important to us.” said 3 Sheeps Founder and Brewmaster Grant Pauly.
Next up, expect to find Rye and Mighty rye IPA wrapped in a can label celebrating the brewery’s hometown of Sheboygan and the city’s tradition of Lake Michigan surfing.
Then, future brewer-selected limited edition specials will have labels featuring places like Eau Claire, Door County, Hayward and Eagle River.
“We are so proud to call Sheboygan home for so many reasons,” Pauly added.
“Our Lake Michigan shoreline is nothing short of amazing and draws travelers from all over. The Fresh Coast is the best coast!”
The variety packs – of which I’m a big fan because they’re almost like take-home beer flights – are available at retailers that sell 3 Sheeps beer, as well as in the taproom, where you can also buy six-packs of the limited edition brews in Wisconsin cans. But note that those are only available in the taproom, 1837 North Ave., in Sheboygan.
