Live music is back in the air – and back in the Ayre, as Ayre in the Square announced the free live music series will return this summer to Catalano Square for two nights filled with live tunes.
Hosted in the Third Ward on the corner of Menomonee and Young Streets, across from Club Charlie's and Bavette La Boucherie, Ayre in the Square will take the stage on two Saturdays – July 24 and Aug. 21 – from 4-8 p.m. Each night will feature four musical acts – this year including Nineteen Thirteen, Yum Yum Cult, Caley Conway and more – spread throughout the evening.
“We’re very excited to be able to welcome music fans safely back to Catalano Square” said Allen Halas, co-organizer of Ayre in the Square, in a release. “The setting in the Third Ward is absolutely great in the middle of summer, and while we have a smaller schedule this year, it’s another step in the return to normalcy. I’m very much looking forward to it.”

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
