What makes for a good sports bar:

Is it ample seating?

Knowledgeable bartenders?

Good specials?

A simple menu?

Lots and lots of televisions?

If those factors are your idea of a good sports bar, then chances are you'll agree with the results of our readers' poll, which found Fanatics Sports Central, 185 N. Jefferson St., in the Third Ward, to be the best place in town to watch a game.

With plenty of room to hold people during the biggest games -- including stadium seating -- a big bar area and a game room, Fanatics is the place to be on game day.

The editors are fans, too, but also like Center Court Pub & Grille for its location right across from the Bradley Center. editors' pick: Center Court Pub & Grille
