The weather is expected to finally dip in Milwaukee this week, but Summerfest is already looking forward to next year’s festival.

On Monday morning, that included announcing the next name to grace the BMO Pavilion stage next year, as alt-rock icons Cake will play the festival on Friday, June 27th. The long-running rockers are the second announced headliner for the Pavilion stage.

Tickets for Cake at BMO Pavilion will go on sale this Friday via the Summerfest website. A presale for Summerfest insiders will be on Thursday at 10 a.m., while a general on-sale via Summerfest and Ticketmaster will be held Friday morning. Admission to the BMO Pavilion also includes admission to the rest of Summerfest.

So far, we know two headliners for the BMO Pavilion, as last week, the Avett Brothers were announced to open the second weekend of the festival. Lainey Wilson is also the first confirmed American Family Insurance Amphitheater headliner for 2025.

Summerfest will return for three weekends in 2025, taking place from Thursday-Saturday on June 19-21, June 26-28, and July 3-5 of next year. Read more about that here.

We’re going the distance through the winter to head to next year’s Summerfest. Excited yet?!
