Season's eatings! The weather may be getting colder, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee is just cooking up, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Dining Month is brought to you by Fein Brothers, your premier food service equipment and supply dealer in Wisconsin since 1929. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted!

Twenty-five years after starting in the basement of a Walker’s Point warehouse, Colectivo Coffee Roasters is celebrating a milestone anniversary this month – 25 years.

And, it is doing so in style with tributes, stories and a Willy Wonka-style Silver Ticket Giveaway.

Twenty-five lucky customers who purchase a pound of Colectivo’s Limited Edition 25th Anniversary Blend may find a silver ticket inside that can be redeemed for a one-year monthly coffee subscription. Yes, FREE coffee for a year.

Founded by Paul Miller and brothers Lincoln and Ward Fowler in 1993, Colectivo has grown to employs more than 600 people at its 18 cafes located in Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago and at its Troubadour Bakery – home of its scratch-made baked goods.

"We are constantly amazed that what started as a small idea to simply do something really well has evolved into the organization it is today," said Lincoln Fowler in a recent email.

Personally, I love that OnMilwaukee was a vital part of the company’s change from Alterra to Colectivo and that my family lives only a few blocks away from a Colectivo cafe.  Both make Colectivo a wonderful part of my daily Milwaukee life.

Onward, Colectivo to your next 25+ years. And, congrats on your 2018 Best of win, too.
