For the 10th straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee, presented by the restaurants of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, dining guides, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as voting for your "Best of Dining 2016."

On Oct. 5, select Cousins Subs locations will participate in the annual United We Dine fundraiser benefiting United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County.

Ten percent of the day’s proceeds will support more than 220 programs at over 110 partner agencies throughout Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties. Donations help to address issues such as poverty, teen pregnancy and homelessness. Participating Cousins Subs locations include:

  • 1612 W. Wisconsin Ave.
  • 1233 E. Brady St.
  • 1001 N. Old World 3rd St.
  • 853 N. Mayfair Rd., Wauwatosa
  • 530 W. Sunset Dr., Waukesha
  • 324 E. Wisconsin Ave.
  • 5121 W. Howard Ave.

"With a strong commitment to giving back to our local communities in need, we’re honored to team up with area restaurants to support such a diverse set of programs across a four-county region," said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing at Cousins Subs. "We encourage everyone to come together for this important cause in order to make a change and improve all sectors of the community – one meal at a time."

Since 2010, United We Dine has grown to include nearly 50 participating restaurants in its workplace giving campaign and has raised almost $35,000 to benefit three key areas community-wide: education, income and health. Since joining the United We Dine initiative in 2010, Cousins Subs has raised more than $4,300 for programs that create a better quality of life for all.
