The summer is sounding more and more exciting as the week goes along, with concert announcements from Halsey, Josh Groban, Luke Bryan and now jam icons Dave Matthews Band, who revealed today a two-night tour stop at Alpine Valley on July 2-3.
The visit marks DMB's first visit to their familiar East Troy strumming grounds since 2019 – though the band did make a stop in Milwaukee last summer for the Big Gig, one originally scheduled for 2020 but pushed to the following year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tickets for the two-night stop go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25. The show does have two admission presales, however: one for Citi cardmembers running 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22 through 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, as well as one for members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association now available at the membership website. For more information on the show, tickets and presales, visit either Dave Matthews Band's website or Citi Entertainment's website.
And stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more concert news and announcements.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
