CityTins and Diverse Dining teamed up this spring to create Diversitins, a collection of coasters that double as coupons for discounts at culturally diverse restaurants in the Milwaukee area.

The goal of this project is to cultivate courage, compassion and connection through meaningful conversations centered around diverse foods and cultural exploration.

CityTins is a locally based female owned company that sells tins filled with coaster shaped discounted gift cards to be used at local restaurants. Diverse Dining is a locally based, Black female-owned company that hosts and facilitates conversations amongst diverse people over great food.

"Purchasing a Diversitin allows you to support Black-owned, women-owned, Hispanic-owned and countless other resturants and small businesses with just one purchase," says Diversitins co-coordinator, Emerald Mills.

Participating restaurants include:

  • Amilinda
  • Antigua
  • Carini's
  • Crawdaddy's
  • Heaven's Table
  • Kegel's Inn
  • Luna's
  • Meat on the Street
  • Movida
  • Hotel Madrid
  • New Fortune
  • Noche
  • On The Bayou
  • Ono Kine Grindz
  • Orenda Cafe
  • Pizza de Brazil
