Here's some much-needed cool news during this hot stretch: Fiserv Forum today announced the schedule for its second annual Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off, hosted at the Downtown arena on Dec. 28-29.

The four-team college hockey tournament debuted last year at Fiserv Forum with Wisconsin beating out Providence, Yale and Bowling Green on the ice. Round two this winter will once again feature the Badgers, this time taking on the likes of Lake Superior State, Clarkson and the 2021 NCAA men's hockey champions UMass.

Each day of the tournament will feature two games, with the first dropping the puck at 4 p.m. Day one will showcase the semifinal games – UMass versus Clarkson, followed by Wisconsin against Lake Superior State – while day two will host the consolation game and the championship match, the previous day's losers facing off before the semifinal winners settle who will be crowned the second Holiday Face-Off champion.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
