Get fueled up for Flat Out Friday, flying back into Fiserv Forum on Friday, Feb. 23.
For those who aren't up to speed, Flat Out Friday is an indoor motorcycling racing extravaganza, featuring riders of all ages, regionalities and bike classes zipping around the Fiserv Forum flat track – soaked in soda syrup for extra stickiness. The revved-up event is expected to feature a dozen bike classes and more than 300 racers in action this upcoming winter. And for those who don't race, Flat Out Friday surrounds the on-track excitement with off-track fun including parties, performances, exhibits and more hosted beyond the main site.
The race was founded in 2014 and moved to Fiserv Forum in 2020 – or at least it tried to, as the pandemic shut down its inaugural year at the Downtown arena. Flat Out Friday would eventually make its Fiserv Forum debut, though, in December the following year and has continued to call the Bucks arena its race hub since.
For details and registering for the race, visit Flat Out Friday's official website – and for tickets, head over to Fiserv Forum's website when they go on sale beginning Monday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. And for a quick look behind the scenes of making this motorcycle mayhem happen, click here.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
