American Family Field is one of major league baseball's rare stadiums with a roof. For now, that is, as the roof might just get blown off the place by a punk rock icons Green Day and their upcoming "The Saviors Tour" mega-show featuring the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas on Saturday, Aug. 24. 

The legendary five-time Grammy winners behind hits like "Holiday," "American Idiot," "When I Come Around" and many more last played Milwaukee just this past summer as a part of the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival on the lakefront. The band also played the opening day of the fall-set Summerfest in 2021 alongside Weezer and Fall Out Boy.

“We look forward to welcoming Green Day to American Family Field in 2024,” said Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger, in a release. “Our ballpark is a destination for the biggest touring acts, and Green Day is an iconic band that will deliver an amazing entertainment experience.”

The Green Day concert marks the second tour stop currently booked for the ballpark next year, with country star Luke Combs also taking the field for two nights in April.

Tickets for the stadium show will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster. However, there are a number of presales for the tour stop – including a presale for Citi cardmembers running Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, Nov. 9 at 10 p.m., as well as an AmFam Field presale running Thursday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Official Platinum seats will also be available beginning Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. For more information on the Citi cardmembers presale, visit Citi's website – and for more information about the other presales as well as additional concert details, click here.
