TMJ4 will introduce a new nightly news program, "Milwaukee Tonight," on Monday, May 10.

Hosted by TMJ4 news anchor Steve Chamraz, "Milwaukee Tonight" will showcase some of the more positive stories from the southeast Wisconsin area, highlighting topics ranging from the arts to pop culture to neighborhood stories to people making a difference to food – including segments featuring OnMilwaukee's own Lori Fredrich every Thursday – and more. Former "Real Milwaukee" co-host Cassandra McShepard will also join the new program as a correspondent focusing on the city's hidden gems.

“We know that the city of Milwaukee itself is a hidden gem in our country so we wanted to create a newscast that highlights all of the diverse people and places that make it the amazing city that it is,” said TMJ4 News Director Tim Vetscher, in a release. "Our community has been through such challenging times, and we produce plenty of other newscasts to focus on the tough stories going on around us. 'Milwaukee Tonight' will celebrate the city we love."

"Milwaukee Tonight" will air every weeknight at 6:30 p.m.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
