Local artists Chacho Lopez and Benjamin Stark of Painting It Forward will paint a mural at Boone & Crockett on Saturday, Sept. 8, and everyone is invited to watch the process. The "mural party" starts at 5:30 p.m.
The mural, which will be painted on a shed on the Boone & Crockett grounds, 818 S. Water St., will incorporate the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge and the Light the Hoan initiative. It will feature both an illuminated depiction of the Hoan Bridge along with images of the real Hoan Bridge.
Boone & Crockett will also host a live DJ and happy hour drink specials during the event.
