On Friday, August 13 at 1 p.m. we'll be filming a live episode of the show with Chef Emanuel Corona of La Dama Mexican Kitchen, the new restaurant concept which opened in July at 839 S. 2nd St.
During the show, Corona will be showing us how to make tetelas, corn masa stuffed with black bean paste, Oaxacan string cheese, wild mushrooms, huitlacoche, squash blossom, jocoque. The dish is a popular items in both Oaxaca and Mexico city and is featured on the La Dama menu.

In 2024, Lori was honored with a "Top 20 Women in Hospitality to Watch" award by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.
When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or planning for TV and radio spots, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
